This square was the village centre for many years. The use of the arches was to protect from rain and weather conditions on market day. Today is one of the most photographed of the monuments. The square serves a passage towards the interior of the village. The arches are very different from the outside – with simple stone arches- and the inside, where the vaults and arches seen in the images, give it a very special character.
